‘Bourdiere' is the name of this beautiful old rustic farmhouse and it’s land, situated in the Haut Auvergne, in Autry Issards, a little village at approximately 3 hours (300 km) distance southwards from Paris. The property is situated at the end of a small country road between the hills, lakes and woods. It’s an oasis of peace. 

For over decades this wonderful location has been a meeting-place for artists, writers and musicians. 

The farmhouse is divided into 4 different characteristic houses, each with a private kitchen, bathroom and outdoor space and decorated in a simple artistic rustic way. There is a salt water pool on the domain that can be used, though with attention and respect. It’s the perfect place to accommodate small groups (max 14 pers)

At the moment different Yoga and meditation retreats, sport events and music sessions are being organised.

‘Bourdiere’ is also an excellent environment for a romantic stay for two, a small group of friends or to spend some time alone. It’s a place to make music or to be surrounded by silence in the middle of nature. The atmosphere is ideal to write, to release the stress, to swim, and to cook. There are many things to do in the area such as visiting the medieval villages and churches or strolling around the local flea markets known as the Vide Greniers. For the ones who are interested in a more adventurous stay there are possibilities to hike, bike, ride horse and to canoe in the area Alliers of Sioule.
